The Wall Join Restrictions tool marks places where a newly designed wall must not connect to existing building elements, such as wall hydrants or service and shaft access doors.
This tool is optional.
How to mark join-restricted areas
- Select the Wall Join Restrictions tool (shortcut X).
- Draw a segment along the edge of an element that is already mapped, for example on the core outline.
Rules
- Create segments only where the underlay shows such elements.
- Do not mark areas without join-blocking elements.
